24 Gurus of Lord Dattatreya

The 24 Gurus of Dattatreya Avadhut are the 24 elements in this universe. These are the 24 channels that enables a human to gratefully receive the grace of Lord Maha Vishnu, Lord Param Shiva and the Sadgurutatva. In this 'Blessed Pradakshina', (धन्य धन्य प्रदक्षिण’) we have performed Pradakshina, and worshipped  the representations of these 24 elements of the Guru, due to which these 24 Guru elements would undergo 24 processes and transform our 24 channels into immune vaccines, in order to make our lives happy and joyful.

A channel is the safest path to transfer a thing  from one point to the other. The channel includes information, equipments, logistics and the road to walk on unquestionably and is the medium or process that gets completed right from starting point till the end..    

To understand and follow  the qualities and characteristics of each of Avadhoot's Gurus and to learn what should be grasped from their qualities or characteristics and what should we  castaway or discard ,is referred to 'Niyatichakraparivartan pradakshina'.

 Prior to this Utsav, Sadguru Aniruddha Bapu had explained the importance of these 24 Gurus of Dattaguru Avadhoot in a series of his discourses.

  17. Pingala – a courtesan

   20. Kumari (maiden )

   21. Fletcher (one who makes Arrows)
