Ishad pruthkarika
Posted in English
A huge sieve was placed outside
the doors of the Pruthkarika(पृथ्क्कारिका). It was
called- Ishad Pruthkarika, a seive that strained
all favourable and good for us. . This sieve belonged to the compassionate, Aniruddha,
. After performing the poojan of 24 Gurus, one was supposed to transferpebbles
and small twigs, left in winnowing fan or basket to the sieve of Aniruddha. .
In fact, one was supposed to empty all the left material in the winnowing fan to this sieve. Those pebbles and small twigs were symbolic representation of one’s grief and worries. It was like offering all the wrong within us and in return to accept all happiness and joy from him.
